Connection Problem (PC-XP to MAC-OS 10.3.3)

Hello:

I have VNC installed on my mac powerbook g4 at home and VNC installed on my 
windows XP home dell inspiron which I am using at the hotel right now.  When 
I installed the software and did a test at home, everything worked fine.  I 
was using a lynksys wireless router at home.  I typed in the lower address 
of the two that appeared on my mac, made sure the server was started on the 
mac and everything worked like a charm.

However, when I got to the hotel and tried to connect, I get the message, 
"Attempting to connect to host...."  and then "unable to connect to host: 
Connection timed out (10060)."
Does any one know why this would work find at home but then when I leave the 
serine walls of my house, things don't work?  Please let me know.
