Problem using VNC and ZoneAlarm

I am seeing the same problem.  My problem started a few days ago after I 
applied the latest 6-8 Win/XP updates on my home machine.  As soon as I 
restarted Windows, I got a pop-up notification that there was a Zone Alarm 
update as well.  After I applied it, I could no longer get from my home 
machine to my office, desktop server.  If it makes a difference, I am 
running an old level of VNC, 3.3.6.  The reason I'm running it is because 
it works and I depend on it so much that I didn't want to rock the boat.  I 
suspect that the problem is in Zone Alarm now that I've heard of others 
having a problem with ZA and VNC.  I'll try disabling ZA tonight and 
running the Win/XP firewall, altho I think I tried it last night.  I'll try 
again.  I may also try a really fast test with no firewall.  It may be time 
to switch to the Symantec Norton Firewall.
