In the end, I drove out to the site and performed a "Disconnect Clients"
from the system tray icon although it did not change to the black icon. That
resolved the issue. The event viewer consisted of the following application
logs:
Event Type: Information
Event Source: WinVNC4
Event Category: None
Event ID: 1
Date: 8/10/2005
Time: 9:57:23 AM
User: N/A
Computer: MD-SRVR-01
Description:
Connections: accepted: 172.16.1.112::1505
Event Type: Information
Event Source: WinVNC4
Event Category: None
Event ID: 1
Date: 8/10/2005
Time: 9:57:27 AM
User: N/A
Computer: MD-SRVR-01
Description:
Connections: closed: 172.16.1.112::1505 (unable to switch into input
desktop)
I hope someone can make sense of this. Thanks.
