Request for a little support :-)

Dear All,

I am new to this list.

I am interested in sharing my desktop, via the Internet, with a group of
students with disabilities. I simply want the students to be able to see my
desktop and mouse movements. I do not want them to have control over
anything on my PC.

I downloaded and installed the Free Edition of VNC.

I also printed out and read the documentation. I have a small, four-PC,
local area network at home. I am able to get VNC running successfully on
and between all four PCs on the same network. However, I do not seem to be
able to provide my students the ability to connect to my desktop from the
Internet. I believe I have everything setup correctly. I've tried having
my students us both a VNC Viewer and a browser. I simply don't know enough
about VNC to resolve this problem.

Maybe I am using VNC for something for which it was not intended.

Might someone out there be willing to provide me a little guidance? I
promise not to take up a lot of anyone's time.

Thanks for your consideration!

Sincerely,

Steve :-)
