Greyweave background problems - VNC with KDE on FC3

I tried running it on 9, but this still does not help. Yesterday I was
trying on :0, :1 & :2 with no better luck. I get the greyweave background.
Maybe I was not clear before that I can actually connect, but I cannot get
a proper window manager running (in this case KDE). I probably should have
just tried it with X before changing all the settings. Is there something
else I could be missing? Thanks again for any help!
