VNC over Internet strange display

Need more information, please... For example, what operating systems are you
talking about? Is there a firewall or router between the two machines?
Please give some details on how you're trying to connect.

Dear All.

I encounter a strange thing.
When I connect to VNC server through Internet:
1) I get Password prompt (good thing).
2) If I enter a wrong password, VNC server reject it and ask for a valid 
one (good thing).
3) If I enter the good one, I see a small title bar and nothing else...
4) When I look at Connection infos, it gives me a 0X0 screen size...

Any idea?
