help behind router

Every router is different. You will need to add a port forward for port
5900 to the internal IP address of the server (also port 5800 of you
want to use the java viewer). Once that has happened, you will be able
to remotely connect using the external IP address that your ISP has
given you. I can't give more detail because I don't know the router, the
platform your server runs on, or how you connect to the internet.
