Please provide more details on what you did and what exactly the
symptoms are that you are seeing. I set this up last week on RedHat
Enterprise 3.0 (which is very similar to RH9)...

Subject: Multiple Connections to RedHat 9 VNC Server from Windows
Machines
Hello.
Ive been trying to set up multiple connections to a RedHat9 machine
using the native vnc server program that come with the RH9 install.
Ive tried to follow instructions from several places to achieve
this,(notably the vnc faq-o-matic page which is actually applicable to
RH7.3) to do this. I have followed them to the letter, for instructions
using xinetd, but i cannot connect to the server from the clients i wish
to.
So that means i am stuck running several sessions (editing
/etc/sysconfig/vncservers file) and manually setting up users.Running
several sessions perpetually is a lot of processing power usage, so i'd
really like to be able to accomplish not having persistent servers
running. I want to be able to have the servers started up only when the
users try to connect. Are there any updated instructions for RH9, or is
there something I'm missing?
Can any one help me with this?
Thank you very much in anticipation
