Hi

Thanks for the help so far, have created an installer which copies the file
and put the registry entries in. However, when PC is rebooted, the service
is not running.
I know this is perhaps more of a windows issue then VNC, but on your
installer, how do you get the service to start automatically when windows
boots?

Regards, Brian

Brian,

We're using InnoSetup for the installer, so the /silent and /verysilent
flags will work & will do a default (server + viewer) install. You can then
separately apply registry settings to configure the server, if required.

Alternatively VNC Enterprise Edition
(http://www.realvnc.com/products/enterprise) will include access to the VNC
Deployment Tool, which is capable of installing & configuring VNC servers on
remote NT/2K/XP-based systems.

Cheers,

Wez @ RealVNC Ltd.
