I hope you're wearing fire retardant clothing, because you're about to get flamed.

Have you even tried reading any of the documentation? Please do.

First, VNC is for remote operation, not gaming. I say that, just in case that is what you are thinking of doing.

If you are trying to help your friends with their computers, then you need to install the Server on their computer and run the Viewer on yours. This will allow you to operate their computer just as if you were sitting at its keyboard. You will need to know their current IP address also. And, if they are going through a router you will need to know how to do "Port Forwarding" with it.

If you want your friends to be able to watch or help you on your computer, then they need the viewer and you need to the server installed.

You could possibly have the server on both computers if you wanted.

Please, try to read some of the basic documents before asking such simplistic questions.

I am new to VCN. I want to hook up to my friends computer from my computer.
What do I have to install on my computer(server or viewer) and what do I
have to install on my friends computer(server or viewer)? Thank you.
