Strange viewer behaviour - black non resizable screen - WinXP SP2?

Yep - you're right - the documentation is quite brief and not very certain
about it.

So is it the viewer/server can't work on a system that is configured for FUS
or does it need to encounter a more than one logged on user to lose the
plot?

Regardless, is it not feasible for the Server to observe that FUS/RD is/has
occurred and therefore deny any attempts to connect?

As is stated in the documentation, the current VNC release is not compatible
with Fast User Switching.
