Hello vnc-list,
I have been using VNC for a long time in it's most basic mode.
Install the client here, and the server there, and have at it.
I was at a customer site last week, and they were calling tech
support for one of their applications.
The tech had the user go to his web site and click a link, after
clicking this link, he was connected to my customer and was able to
control the PC.
VNC was not installed on this PC.
How did he get the server to start, then run in connect mode to his
viewer in listening mode?
This is all windows based.
I think this is a fabulous way to support people with having to
walk them through installing vnc on their PC.
