Still can't get it to work through firewall

I've had a lot of minor connectivity issues with the XPSP2 firewall myself. 
At this point I would suggest working with the Trend firewall or another 
free one (such as the Kerio firewall).  The new firewall appears to be very 
paranoid (generally a good thing) but does not appear to be consistent about 
notification.

Don't take this as a general opinion on the quality of the new version of 
the firewall; overall, it's behavior looks good for a tool designed to 
protect home users, and it does provide a fairly rich model for exceptions; 
I jsut haven't been able to work through getting it to behave the way I 
want.
