When you posted to the list, if david "at" free-ads were subscribed, he'd get the
mail you posted, and might then bounce a reply of this sort back to you
directly.  The fact that it's a "free-ads" address makes this look more
dubious, since it'd be a really obvious way to snarf live addresses from
mailing lists, so I'd recommend ignoring these mails.
