The URLs are all the same, its the port numbers which change.
This is how it looks:
http://mydomain.com:9999 mapped to sentinel:5900
http://mydomain.com:9998 mapped to morpheus:5900
http://mydomain.com:9997 mapped to trinity:5900
The ideas suggested are interesting but not as simple as a straight
local aliases file which could be read by vncviewer before attempting
the connection. I just want to enter "sentinel", "morpheus" or
"trinity" and not bother with portnames at all. The other advantage is
this is what appears in the title bar so I can tell where I am when I
have several different sessions open too.
