Birch Telcom

Well...I have emailed several times the last few days and I finally found out why I couldn't get VNC to work...Birch Telcom, my ISP, blocks the ports that VNC uses.   
Once I spoke to their 2nd tier tech. support guys, they knew exactly what I was talking about...they said "oh, you need your ports opened for VNC?"   It works now...thank god!
 
I was doing the right thing all along.  Birch had to forward their router to my router then my router of course to my target PC.
 
If anyone is trying with Birch..beware.
