Minimum hardware requirements for vnc server

Hello Every one,

I am a newbie to VNC mailing list. Very recently i came across VNC.
Happy to be part of this list.

Inline with my requirements, no where i clould get information about
the minimal hardware requirements of VNC server, although the VNC
clinets are termed as thin clients not expecting a high end hardware
configurations.

But i need your help in knowing the least possible hardware
configureation ( CPU, memory, power ) for the VNC server as at many
places we know the server runs on the OS's like UNIX, WIN 2k/NT/XP
etc, MAC OS.

We know that these OS versions for low end machine architecture do
exist, but how about running VNC servers in these architectures? How
about the performance.

Any suitable links in this regard is also a great help.
