can't connect

[Seak, Teng-Fong]

	What router/firewall are you using?  Does it have the latest version of firmware?  I remember another user has updated his router and everything was then working for him.  Just an idea.

	You said it works "internally".  This sentence implies that you have more than one computer, right?  And how did you do the test "externally"?  You go to another place (eg your office) and try it?  Or you use one of your computers to dial up an ISP and try it?  Or you just type the IP address in one of your computers when they're both still connected to your LAN?

	OTOH, double check that all the path from Internet through your router then to a specific PC is correct.  Even though the port is forwarded, but it could very well be forwarded to the wrong machine, or the destination machine isn't listening the correct port.  Draw things on a paper could sometimes help too.
