With the router doing the port translation (forwarding port 5904 -> 5900),
the java viewer won't work. The web page includes the port number to
connect to, based on what the machine thinks the display number is. So in
this example, you would connect to the HTTP server on port 5800 (because
it is translated by the NAT device), but the java viewer would be
configured to connect to port 5904.
Unlike VNC3, with VNC4 it is easily possible to change this when the java
viewer comes up, but it is a PITA.
