BTW I should have mentioned I did figure out the "Alt-Down / Alt-
Up" options on the title bar menu.  However,

* The task-switch window does not usually appear on the screen, 
so I can't see what I'm switching to, and

* It's an extremely painful way of accessing the task-switch 
menu, especially if you run in full-screen mode.  It's easier to 
scroll the screen to the taskbar.
