It seems like the viewer needs to know it should connect to the X server on
the Dreambox. Is the DISPLAY variable set to localhost:0? Also, since you are
telnetting from your laptop, you won't get the server or password dialogs.
You either need to
1. disable the password on the (laptop) server
2. set up a password file using vncpasswd and refer to it with the -passwd option
3. or run the viewer in listen mode
In cases 1 and 2 you need to enter the connect string (host:display#) on the command line.
In case 3 you will initiate the connection from the server.
