font problem with Bakbone Netvault

Hi,
I'm using VNC on a linux box and want to
connect from my win box to the linux server.
It works fine with the exception of Bakbones
Netvault. When starting the GUI I always
get dotted squares instead of letters.

When I use Netvault from the console in a
KDE environment everything is ok. So it seems
to me, that VNC can't use the font that is
available in a KDE environment.

I have already "synchronized" the font path
setting as mentioned here in this list often.
But nothing changes. I do not use a font server.
I'm not an X-expert. I think the font server
uses the same fonts files of the system, right ?

Any ideas are welcomed. Thanks in advance.
