Actually this is the exact reason I subscribed to this mailing list. I
have the same problem on a W2K3 server. Anybody have a solution short
of connecting via RDP or rebooting the box?
Craig

Subject: Network logon grayed out
Hi, all,
Just ran into a problem with VNC for the first time.
I can establish session to VNC server, but after ctrl-alt-del the logon
window has user and password fields grayed out. The only item that can
be
changed/selected is list of available domains. Following suggestions
from
RealVNC web site, I disabled RDP on that server; "fast user switching"
is
not available, as this is member of a domain. Does anyone know why it is
this way?
VNC server version 4 is on Windows 2003 server (stand alone), tested
viewers
(v. 4) on W2K and XP. Before, I had v. 3.3.6 on both sides, with the
same
symptoms (this is why we upgraded to v4).
Interestingly, we have some other 2003 installations, and they work
fine.
Any help appreciated,
Peter
