I have figured it out below is the solution.

1.	Launch vncviewer.exe
2.	Enter the server you want to connect to
3.	Enter your Password
4.	Right Click Top of vncviewer Window and select options
5.	make any changes that you want to be used as the default for the
server/host you are connecting to
6.	Click the Defaults tab on the VNC Viewer Options
7.	Click the Save Configuration File As tab
8.	Save the .vnc file as whatever name you like and put it where ever
you want.
9.	Click Save
10.	A VNC Viewer: Warning window will appear asking if you want to
include the VNC Password in the configuration file Click Yes if you want to
save it.

The parameter for password in the config file is Password=encrypted password

Hope this might help anyone with the same question.

I am trying to figure out how to store the password for a remote host in the
.vnc config file.

Any Ideas?

I have tried using under [Connection] and [Options]

PassWord=password

Password=password

Pass=password

Here is my current .vnc config

[Connection]

Host=somehost:0

[Options]

UseLocalCursor=1

UseDesktopResize=1

FullScreen=0

FullColour=0

LowColourLevel=0

PreferredEncoding=ZRLE

AutoSelect=1

Shared=0

SendPtrEvents=1

SendKeyEvents=1

SendCutText=1

AcceptCutText=1

Emulate3=1

PointerEventInterval=0

Monitor=

MenuKey=F8

Thanks,

Dave
