vncserver crashes on fedora core 2 (xorg)

The Fedora Core 2 package doesn't work, and I tried the vnc-server-4.0-3
packages from the fedora development branch, and it continues to crash...
Help! I don't find any logs indicating what the problem might be, but I may
be missing a log (I'm a relative linux newbie).
