Nothing else installed aside from what I mentioned previously - except
Acrobat Reader v6. :)

Anything else you're running on the server? I have a 2k3 box with vnc4b4
works fine, it's a PDC, Symantec Antivirus 8.0 Primary Server, MSSQL server
and Windows Update Server, Rights Management, Exchange 2000 IM, and a fax
server, seems to be running fine for me. That machine also controls our RAS
and I just redirect port 5901 through 5930 to our different Ips, no
connection is accepted on 5900 externally, each port redirects to it's
corresponding IP on port 5900.

Yes, I am still seeing this problem. It recurs for me using RealVNC v3 and
b4, as well as the latest UltraVNC. Runs fine on my other w2k3 boxes, just
doesn't like the database server for some reason (mysql, ms-sql, symantec
antivirus server).

I've set the vnc service to restart after failing, and after a reboot it
will work for a few connects but then once it starts crashing it seems to
take a left-turn into hell...

Which version of VNC server are you running?
