Conflict Between VNC Server and .NET Framework Common

I encountered a probably similar problem using an older version of
ultravnc. A program using the .NET runtime crashed and ultraVNC crashed
with something like "unable to find compatible DC". Unfortunately, I
can't examine this error at present because the machine in question is
200 miles (320 kilometers) away from me. It won't be before somewhen in
2005 before I get back to examine in detail what happened. At present
the computer is unreachable via VNC so I can't do anything.
Best regards and merry xmas :)
