Jurgen;

I think you have defined VNC to run as service. To start it manually, run
the Windows ControlPanel and in the Administation Tools select Services.
Select VNCServer from the list and change the startup mode from Automatic to
Manual.

I hope this can help you.

Cheers

Oggetto: Don4t want VNC to start up with windows-startup

Dear List-Members!

I have a small Problem with this very good program VNC ! Since I4ve
installed the program on my Windows-2000-System, it always starts when
windows is starting.
I need to use remote control software just a few times a month and
don4t want VNC to start up with the windows startup. When I need VNC I
just want to start it manually ! Bad enough brwosing through the
options of VNC I didn4t find the right option to avoide VNC starting
with windows! I would be glad if someone of the list-members could help
me with my problem, because I really would like to use VNC further
ahead ! It4s a great and easy to use program but I have to deinstall
it, if I couldn4t find a solution for this problem !
Thanks for your help and excuses for my Engisch, it4s just
school-english :-)
Best regards, J|rgen Rath
