problems logging in

Do you have a firewall between the computers in the office and outside
the office?

Recently installed VNC on a few Dell PC's operating Windows 98

If we log into the machines within our office from other machines in 
our office, we have no problem.

However if we try to log in from a machine outside the office, we can't 
get on.

Any ideas?


Also, tried to "add client", does this feature allow me to invite a 
computer in to view my machine, if so, couldn't get this to work either.
