VNC Viewer 4.0b5S Questions

I'm having a few issues integrating this with viewer with my adderlink
IP and KVM unit.  I would like to use the "scale by" feature, but this
is not an option.  Is there anyway to use this without conceding the
encryption offered by the 4.0 protocol?  Also, I have ctrl + alt as
hotkeys to access various pc's.  Like for PC #1 I would push ctrl +
alt + 1 and PC #2 ctrl + alt + 2.  It worked fine the first time I
connected through the VNC Viewer 4.0b5S.  I could switch between pc's
without any trouble.  But, ever since then, everytime I try to switch
pc's it will freeze via the VNC client.  The only way to unfreeze it
is to click the "configure" and then exit out of that menu and its
magically unfrozen.  Is there any way to resolve either of these
issues?
