Java Viewer Problem Upgrading to 4.0

Help!

I've just upgraded two Windows XP computers to version 4.0 from version 3.3.6.
Before the upgrade, the java viewer worked perfectly on both. Now, when I try
to connect to either computer from a browser using the
http://???.???.???.???:5800 syntax, there is no response from either server.

If I use the viewer to connect, both work fine.

On the connections tabs, the "Serve java viewer...on port: 5800" is checked.

Have I missed a step on the upgrades?

Of interest, maybe, is if I try to connect through a browser using port 5900
instead, the response I get is "RFB 003.008 ".

Any help/ideas would be appreciated. I've looked at the FAQ and searched the
mail list archives and I haven't seen any problem such as mine.
