Connection terminates

I get a Connection closed pop-up message immediately after I type in the
password. I can confirm that the password is correct, since I get a "VNC
Authentication Failed" pop-up message.

I have un-installed VNC and installed it back but the problem is still
there. It used to work on the server but now it is failing. Please help.
