windows-unix glx issue

Hi,
 
I want to use a windows version of vncviewer to see/control a unix
version of vncserver that is running a program that I guess uses Open
GL. 
 
At the moment, I can get in to the session and run the program just fine
(using 3.3.6), but the program gives me a warning when I try to use its
graphics features of "Error message from the graphics function
Show_Device_Info: Server does not have a GLX extension".
 
Is there a combination of versions and/or tinkering that will work to
avoid this error?
