Help a computer illiterate - please

   Hi,

   I  have  just started using VNC. I know very little about networks etc
   but  have got the program running well. What I would now like to do is
   access  via  a  web  browser  but I can't seem to get it working - the
   syntax I have been using is

   http://myipaddress:01 (where 01 is the display number

   I  have also tried the same syntax with the port number instead of the
   display but still no joy - anybody able to help?
