vnc2swf (was: CamStudio...)

Dear Kiernan,

Indeed, it would be _very_ nice if vnc2swf were integrated into the new
VNC 4.0. Actually, I plan to create a patch for the Unix vncviewer
included in VNC 4.0.

AFAICS the original vnc2swf is broken - on my machine (SuSE 8.1 with gcc
3.3) the vnc viewer part of vnc2swf is OK but when watching the SWF
output with the Real Player, some pixels are not drawn correctly (with
and without the macromedia patch mentioned in the manual!).

Dear RealVNC developers, provided that I am able to write a nice-looking
patch for VNC 4.0, what are the chances that the patch will be included
in one of the next VNC releases? What is your general policy about such
add-ons?

Kind regards,

Michael Schmitt
