Camstudio..

I wish that someone would put vnc2swf into vnc, because vnc does something
camstudio
can't, it knows plenty about how the windowing system works, camstudio just
copies
the screen and encodes it.. VNC also records mouse clicks.. I had told
RoboDemo and
the ViewletBuilder who make money selling tutorial makers based on flash
about vnc, and they may
be here trying to scare people away, who knows.. But I believe VNC would be
better at this than
either of those two, and I'm hoping that someone can write into the VNC
sources a way to
do this, especially for the Windows version.. I'm working on a tutorial
for the CDC, and all I have to
use now is Realvideo, and I know flash would be more compact, but its not
as compressed as realvideo,
becasue Realvideo records every screen, and Realvideo is better at video
encoding for
tutorials than ANY ENCODER, including DIVX.. So keep that in mind next
time you try to make a tutorial
with a video encoder.. VNC could be there, you know!!
And PS- I've used VNC for professional work, I've tunneled it through SSH,
and came in
handy when I had to install software on linux servers remotely.. So I'm not
some novice..
But CORBA will not tunnel over SSH!!
