Display screen data to multiple clients

I am trying to create a simple application to display PowerPoint
presentations or the like to multiple clients.

Can someone tell me what functions I need to call to accept login
information from a client and then to send them the screen output from the
server? Also what information would I need to send to each function?

I have very limited knowledge of C++ and so I am having problems
understanding which functions do what.
