vncserver requests internet access

Hello everybody,

I installed WinVNC server on a Windows XP machine and it
works fine.

But sometimes, the VNC-server-program tries to connect to
the internet. I installed ZoneAlarm since I wondered why I
found outgoing connections in my logfiles on the the
linux-gateway (the computers in the lan use a linux-gateway
to connect to the internet) early in the morning.

If I don't allow internet requests with ZoneAlarm, VNC isn't
possible. I checked the whole system for viruses with
NortonAntiVirus, but it is clean.

How can I tell the VNC-server-programm not to connect to the
internet?
