Hi,
I did a search on this first, but only got a small taste of information. So
any thoughts are much appreciated.
This is my first brush with VNC, so I apologize if this is in a faq
somewhere.
ok here's the skinny...I've got 5 computers behind a netgear router running
on road runner cable. My clients have the same setup, many pcs behind a
router using road runner cable. I've got a copy of RealVNC.
Problem - my client has one dynamic ip address shared among a number of
computers for internet access through a router and I have one dynamic ip
address shared among a number of computers for internet access through a
router. This senario is going to happen alot here because road runner is
popular in this area.
Question - What's the best way for me to setup and get connnected after
installing VNC servers and viewers to help my clients.
Thoughts I've had so far:
After searching the list it looks like to get this to work my clients have
to choose to connect to me, will this still work with the above senario? On
my side, I have one dynamic ip addy, shared among 5 pcs. Only one for now
needs to use VNC, I have setup a dynamic ip service, but now how does this
relate to my nat table/internal ips?
Like I said this is my first brush with VNC, so I apologize if this is in a
faq somewhere.
Thanks for any pointers!
