adding debug to server ?

I am trying to set the server to log debug info since
I can't connect my viewer on my xp machine to my
server on a 2K machine. After entering the password
the window dissapears.
Anyways, I added the debuglevel and debugmode values
to the registtry under
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\ORL\WinVNC3\
but no luck, it is not writing a debug file... I also
added it to the
KEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\ORL\WinVNC3\Default level
but still no luck...

Anyone have any idea why ? I don't see a debug file.
