VNC over HTTPS

Hello List,

Is it possible to wrap VNC traffic over https?
I found a patch that would allow me to the download of client applet and the
VNC traffic to work over the same port. I now want to use apache to work as
a reverse proxy between the browser (VNC applet) and the VNC server. I
haven't been successful with it (although I am sure the configuration is
correct). Has anyone tried something similar before? I know I can do it
using ssh - but I don't want to use any ssh client.
