I'm not aware of anyone who has published a paper on the works.
Certainly, no paper includes Real VNC 4.0 results since it's brand new.
If you do find any propaganda on the web regarding the different VNC
products, you're going to find information that makes one look better
than the other.
You have to review what your needs are and find the product that serves
For me, I wanted the expertise of the folks who invented the software.
Our largest use is on the WAN, not remote/dialup, so I didn't care much
about Tight VNC's compression any longer. I don't care about file
transfers (yet), so I didn't need that either.
