Why is my connection so slow?

Hi all outthere

I installet the prog. and its very cool. But, when i want connect to my
server, the connection is verry slow. It looks like the point is allways
verry faster than the mousecursor of the server. and if i want open a
application it looks like an old 286 processor. can i turn up the speed for
my connection? Im using wndows xp on both pc's.
