In your messages you seem to not be sure if it was working earlier or not.
There is quite a bit of documentation on the VNC site. The source version
comes with a README telling you how to compile and install VNC. I see you
also asked about the /etc/sysconfig/vncservers file. This is part of
Redhat's install, not the one from Realvnc.com. Consequently it is
documented on RedHat's website (
it-shutdown-sysconfig.html ) Your RPM question would have been answered at
Redhat's site, too.

VNC is not Linux. You are having problems with an application, not the
operating system. This is comparable to complaining about Windows because
you are having trouble with WordPerfect or Lotus 1-2-3.

I never accused you of not knowing or understanding technology.

Some of the messages provide new info, but a number of them are also repeats
of previous info.
It seems you are actually having problems with the Windows viewer, not the
Linux server. Have you tried the Linux vncviewer to see if it works as
expected? You say the Java viewer works as expected. Have you tried
another version of the Windows viewer?
Why should I grow up ? This is more fun !
