VNC password?

Hi.  I have recently installed VNC v3.3.5 on a couple of XP boxes.  My
workstations are also part of a Workgroup which all have the same user
passwords.  The administrator password is different though.  I set
Accept Socket Connections with a password that is different from both of
these network login passwords as well.  

 

Each time I log into the workstation and try to VNC to another box I get
an authentication error when using the passowrd I setup for VNC.  It
seems as though VNC is taking the Administrator password.  Odd thing is,
if I am logged in as the Administrator and try to VNC into that box, I
can use the VNC password???

 

Any ideas?  Is VNC user profile specific?
