Generally, cable systems keep the same IP for extended periods, even with
DHCP. Also, you can go to www.myvnc.com and sign up for a free IP
forwarding/redirection service that will let you go to an address such as:
yourname.myvnc.com instead of an actual IP. They also have a utility
that lives on your PC and updates their servers every so many minutes with
your current IP.
