Wrong. There is putty (windows ssh), psftp (windows sftp), and pscp
(windows scp). All free, all work well, all install without problem in a
few minutes. A couple of other programs available as well, telnet
(presumably made safe, have not tried it and a key generator). I have
used them on Windows XP and ME, and I believe they work just as well on
2000. It's painless.
