Easy Remote Access?

Hm...regarding my previous issue -- I told a friend who is behind a firewall 
to download and install the VNC Server, add a new client and type in my IP 
-- I had the Listener active, and I opened port 5900 (TCP and UDP) on my 
computer, but the connection still failed...again, I need to be able to make 
this simple for the client, although this friend does know how to work with 
computers...any clues?
