cmd or Command.com

Hi there,
 
I notice that when I connect to a VNC (3.3.7) and I run a Cmd.exe or a
Command.com I can no longer type anything in the dos command box.
 
Is there a patch or a setting to allow Dos boxes to work through VNC?
