Linux IA64 compilation update

Well, my Xvnc vbinary isn't accepting connections.  It hangs for quite
awhile when you start it up, eventually dying saying that it's unable to
open the default font 'fixed'.

When trying to do an strace, it dies immediately with the same error
message.

Interestingly enough, my -fp options are the same as a build from some
other distribution of VNC on the same platform, and it works.

I'm a little confused.  Maybe a nap and a drink will help.  So will any
suggestions from any of you :)
